You must visit SMR as a guest at least three times to be eligible for membership and then be recommended for membership by the membership committee. New members are voted in by a majority of the members attending the meeting at which the membership committee's recommendation is presented. The first year of membership is probationary.
Members pay no grounds fees and are eligible to lease sites on a yearly basis or own one of the permanent cabins.
