Lawnmowing
(crew of 2)

One person can do most of the mowing on the rider mower while a second person mows the sunning lawn and golf course with a walk- behind. This needs to be done about twice per month. Get checked out by Phil M. the first time you do this.

Windfall clearing (crew of 3-4)

Clear windfall from roadways and stack it in piles by the sides of the roads. Unless the windfall is unusually heavy, lawns can be cleared once in the spring when the windfall is picked up for disposal.

Windfall pickup (crew of 3-4)

Best done with a pick-up truck. Gather windfall and stack it on the burn pile. If burning is permitted, the pile can be lit without waiting for it to dry out.

Firewood

Check with Ron C first. Cut logs to 16". Shorter pieces can be set aside for Rocky's Place, which has a smaller stove box. Split and stack wood on pile next to RV site 19.

General Clean-up (crew of 3-4)

General housekeeping in Lodge, Rocky's Place, Hot Tubs and Showerhouse, Pavilion, outhouses, office, and flush toilets on a meeting or event weekend. Change and wash linens in any Lodge rooms occupied by guests. VOLUNTEERS:__________________________________________________________________________________

Flowerbeds

Weed, fertilize, replant in May; weed again in August and October. Around Rocky's Place, sunning lawn, hot tubs.

Outdoor furniture (crew of 2-3)

Commandeer a pick-up truck and gather the outdoor furniture and stack it in shop in the fall. In spring, wire brush and/or pressure wash and allow to dry thoroughly before retouching or repainting it as needed.
