Golf Course (1-2 each hole)

Gather up the artificial grass in late fall and store it in the shop. Be sure each piece is marked to make it easy to put it back on the right hole. In spring, check and repair features as needed. Wire brush loose paint and debris (or pressure wash and allow to dry) and touch up the paint.

Kill weeds

Mix and spray Roundup along roadways and walkways to kill weeds. Please follow all label directions and cautions, wear gloves, safety glasses, long sleeved shirt, long pants, and shoes.

Winterize

This takes about 60-90 minutes and involves shutting off power to and draining hot water tanks, turning off water supplies, draining water lines, toilets, etc., and putting antifreeze in drain traps and toilet bowls in several locations around camp - the Lodge, Rocky's Place, the Showerhouse, the Pavilion, the outdoor flush toilets, and RV sites. In the spring the process is reversed.

Brush removal (crew of 2-3)

Branches above roadways should be cleared to a height of at least 15 feet and brush should be removed to a distance of 30 feet from trailer and RV sites. (Members are responsible for the brush around their own cabins and leased sites.) Haul cleared brush to burn pile.
