Lake Opal is our own small, private lake, good for swimming and feeding the fish. The lake is fed by a near-by spring, not snow-melt, and so is delightful on a hot summer day and even remains tolerable - briefly - for those who can't refuse a dare in the dead of winter. Next to the lake is SMR's wood-fired sauna.
